Amorim's very own Ibrahimovic: Man Utd to make bid for "phenomenal" talent

Zlatan Ibrahimović is a player who had a huge impact in a short space of time at Manchester United, capturing the hearts of the fanbase as a result.

The Swede joined the club on a free transfer from PSG back in the summer of 2016, subsequently handing the Red Devils the needed talisman they craved.

He managed to register 28 goals in his 46 appearances during his debut campaign, including four in the EFL Cup as he helped the club claim the trophy with a win over Southampton at Wembley.

However, a serious knee injury massively halted his progress at Old Trafford, only managing a total of seven outings throughout his second year at the club – before leaving on a free in June 2018.

Seven years on from his departure, boss Ruben Amorim has the opportunity to land his own version of the striker this summer in an attempt to rise up the Premier League table throughout 2025/26.

The latest on United’s hunt for a new striker this summer

Alexander Isak has been a player at the heart of one of the biggest transfer sagas this summer, with United themselves making an enquiry to land the Newcastle United star.

However, such an approach was rapidly dismissed, with the player himself holding out for a move to Liverpool after their opening offer of £120m was rejected last week.

Despite the failure to land the Swede, Amorim could be about to make a move to land RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko, according to The Standard’s latest update.

They claim that the Red Devils are preparing an offer for the Slovenian international, after Newcastle had their £69m offer rejected over the weekend.

The Standard also states that the player himself could still be keen on a move to Old Trafford this summer, despite their lack of European football ahead of next season.

Why United’s latest target could be Amorim’s own Ibrahimovic

There are very few players in the modern game who can compare to Zlatan, with the legendary forward possessing a unique playstyle – not to mention his confidence off the field.

AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The 43-year-old was a player who was an aerially dominant option, but also capable of scoring the spectacular, as seen by the stupendous goal catalogue he’s produced during his career.

Moments of magic are what made him the player he was at Old Trafford, with his effort against Sunderland showcasing his ability to create an opportunity out of nothing.

His height, at 6”5, was a huge problem for multiple backlines in England’s top-flight, perfectly fitting the mould of what’s needed for a striker leading the line for the Red Devils.

Very few players have been able to replicate such levels since his departure, but that could all be about to change at Old Trafford in the coming weeks, with a move for the RB Leipzig talisman.

RB Leipzig's BenjaminSeskocelebrates their second goal scored by Lukas Klostermann

Sesko, who sits at a staggering 6”5, possesses a very similar frame to Zlatan, also being aerially dominant, like the Swede, as seen by his tally of 2.6 aerials won per 90 last season.

The Slovenian, who’s been labelled “phenomenal” by analyst Antonio Mango, also scored 21 goals in 2024/25, often producing a sensational strike, as seen by his long-range effort against Bayern Munich.

His excellence in attacking areas is further showcased in his tally of 1.5 dribbles completed per 90, having the all-round talent to impress in the air or on the ground when needed.

Ultimately, his record of goals last season is the biggest sign of a good player, with Amorim’s side desperately needing a new forward who can produce the goods if they are to improve on their dismal 2024/25.

Sesko has all the tools needed to thrive in the current first-team squad, able to develop further under the manager’s guidance, given his tender age of just 22 years.

If he can build on his recent displays in Germany at Old Trafford, he would be a phenomenal buy, despite the fee, potentially being Amorim’s own version of former fan favourite Ibrahimović.

Newcastle now offered chance to sign £69m striker they’ve scouted for years

After Wolverhampton Wanderers rejected their opening bid to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen, Newcastle United have now reportedly been offered the chance to sign a different Scandinavian star.

Newcastle's striker search rumbles on as Larsen move stalls

From the very start of the transfer window, Newcastle have been on the hunt for a striker. It’s a search that started with Joao Pedro and Bryan Mbeumo, who both chose Chelsea and Manchester United instead. The Magpies then turned to Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sekso, who rejected them in favour of Liverpool and Old Trafford once again.

Meanwhile, Yoane Wissa is now back in training with Brentford in another blow for the Magpies. The 29-year-old has done everything to force a move out of the West London club, but has not seen an offer arrive that matches his valuation in return. Now, it looks as though those at St James’ Park are turning their focus towards an alternative in Strand Larsen.

On that front, however, it’s so far been a familiar story for Newcastle amid reports that Wolves have rejected their opening offer worth £50m. And whilst they’re expected to submit an improved offer, there’s no denying that time is running out to satisfy Wolves’ demands.

As an alternative to Wissa, Strand Larsen would certainly make sense. The powerful striker enjoyed an excellent debut campaign in the Premier League last time out – scoring 14 goals – and is still a player full of potential.

Once again, however, there remain question marks over Newcastle’s willingness to match the price tag that has been set and there are still other options that they could turn to this week.

Newcastle offered chance to sign Harder

According to The Boot Room’s Graeme Bailey, Newcastle have now been offered the chance to sign Conrad Harder from Sporting CP this month.

The forward has been the subject of interest from AC Milan, who are reportedly working on a deal to secure his signature following the collapse of Victor Boniface’s move. But the door is still seemingly ajar for Newcastle to swoop in after receiving contact from intermediaries about a potential deal.

Conrad Harder for Sporting Club.

Bailey told TBR: “Intermediaries have made contact with Newcastle to inform them of the availability of Harder. We understand that Harder is a player that Newcastle have previously scouted. Newcastle are in the market for two new strikers before the window closes.”

Dubbed a “complete” forward by scout Jacek Kulig, Harder is full of potential at just 20 years old and coming off the back of a promising season at Sporting. With a deal seemingly there to be done for around £20m and not his £69m release clause too, Newcastle could land an absolute bargain.

Ugarte 2.0: Amorim asks INEOS to sign "world-class" £43m star for Man Utd

Manchester United are heading into the final stretch of the summer transfer window brimming with optimism, for Ruben Amorim and the outfit’s transfer entourage have come together to pull off some exciting signings.

Last year’s lowly Premier League finish is a thing of the past, and with a new-look frontline consisting of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo out wide, plucked from divisional rivals, and fronted by Benjamin Sesko, 22, who joins from RB Leipzig with a weight of expectation, hailed by talent scout Jacek Kulig for having “the potential to develop into a world-class striker.”

FFC Manchester United Sesko Mbeumo Cunha

However, United may yet be in need of a few more signings besides. Amorim took the wheel of a sinking ship last season, and while things didn’t go to plan across the first chapter of the Portuguese tactician’s journey at the club, there’s hope that the storm has been weathered and the Red Devils can begin anew.

But in order to achieve his goals, Amorim is determined to get rid of a few more surplus first-teamers before the end of the month, maybe even signing another player or two as well.

Man Utd pushing for more signings

While Man United still have their work cut out in cashing in on some of the deadwood within the Old Trafford first team, there’s little question that the Red Devils have displayed great intent in the summer transfer market, and remain hungry for further signings.

And the pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba suggests that the Red Devils plan to shuffle the midfield pack further over the coming weeks.

But, with the frontline secure, Caught Offside are reporting that Amorim has personally requested that INEOS advance a potential move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been excluded from Luis Enrique’s plans for the new season, expected to depart having entered the final year of his contract.

United are joined by their pesky neighbours Manchester City in chasing the Italy international, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who is valued at a steep €50m (£43m); furthermore, his salary demands would be sure to place him among the club’s top earners.

Man United have, of course, already engaged with PSG for a big-money transfer in recent memory, signing Manuel Ugarte last summer.

And it’s with that deal in mind that caution should be considered when weighing up a move for PSG’s 6 foot 7 shot-stopper.

Why Man Utd shouldn't sign Donnarumma

Donnarumma played a vital role in winning everything on offer in Europe for PSG last season, but having been ferried toward the exit door, Man United spy an opportunity.

However, should they be making this move when INEOS’ new strategy appears to hold so much promise?

To be sure, Donnarumma is an exciting and established player, but PSG don’t want him, and perhaps that is telling, especially when peering back at the many misfires for Man United over the years.

And when considering that a move for Ugarte last summer hasn’t really gone to plan, a different track might be worthwhile here too. Indeed, the current bid for Baleba suggests that Ugarte’s place as the starting anchor in Amorim’s system is anything but secure.

The 24-year-old had some good moments in the Premier League last season, namely during a monstrous performance against Liverpool at Anfield, but there’s little question that he struggled to adapt to the rigours of English football.

However, he petered out toward the end of the campaign and struggled on the ball at times. Sure, the Uruguayan was crisp enough, completing around 88% of his passes in the league, but his average of 3.08 progressive passes per game, via FBref, left him ranked among the lowly bottom 18% of the division’s midfielders.

Not good enough, and indicative of a discordance between Ugarte’s tactical weaknesses and the way in which Amorim wants to play. The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell noted that the South American was prone to having a ‘nightmare in possession’ for the side last season.

In this regard, Donnarumma could bleakly mimic his former Paris-based teammate. The Italian is a staggering shot-stopper, so important in winning the quadruple at PSG under Luis Enrique’s wing last season.

However, Donnarumma is infallible, and on a reported £300k-per-week salary at the Parc des Princes, might Old Trafford be treading over the sheet-thin ice of recent years?

Though he has improved since those youthful days, Donnarumma remains a comparatively young goalkeeper and we have seen with Andre Onana the perils in signing a goalkeeper with such deficiencies, in spite of strong performances out on the continent.

It’s worth noting that Onana, for all his flaws, saved 68.9% of his shots faced in the Premier League last season; Donnarumma, however, averaged a 66.7% save percentage in Ligue 1, both sets of stats courtesy of FBref. The Italian is also barely much better when it comes to launching passes, ranking among the worst 30% of goalkeepers in Europe for launched pass success. Onana, conversely, ranks among the worst 15%.

Andre Onana in action for Manchester United.

Given that, as was the case with Ugarte, PSG have marked Donnarumma as expendable, casting him out of the project, United technical director Jason Wilcox will surely be wary of lightning striking twice, and United being stuck within this cyclical further still.

Whether Man United act on their interest and sign the prominent goalkeeper remains to be seen, but as with the likes of Raphael Varane, Casemiro and indeed Ugarte (among others), there is a lesson to be learned about signing high-profile players who other top teams are happy to shift.

Football commentator Matteo Bonetti has remarked in the past that Donnarumma boasts a skill set that is “beyond world-class”, but the reservations as to whether United would receive bang for their buck are definitely there, and perhaps it would be better to opt against such a signing.

O'Brien replacement: Everton eye deadline day move for "crunching" EFL star

Everton have made some terrific moves in the summer transfer window to bolster David Moyes’ options across the pitch, with the headline-grabber so far being the arrival of Jack Grealish.

The England international has registered an eye-catching haul of four assists in three Premier League outings for the Toffees so far, per Sofascore, with two assists against Wolves and against Brighton.

Kieran Dewsbury-Hall also arrived from Chelsea on a permanent deal and produced a goal and an assist in the 3-2 win over Wolves in the top-flight at the weekend.

Everton eyeing new right-back

The Toffees are now looking at the other end of the pitch for potential reinforcements to improve the back four in front of Jordan Pickford before the deadline passes.

Transfer Focus

Mega money deals, controversial moves and big-name flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinion across Football FanCast.

According to journalist Alan Myers, Everton have an interest in Norwich City right-back Kellen Fisher ahead of the end of the summer transfer window this evening.

The reporter adds, though, that he is not aware of a formal bid having been placed for the England U21 international, which suggests that there has not been any concrete movement as of yet.

Kellen Fisher in action for Norwich City vs Watford.

Everton’s interest in the 21-year-old talent does seem to show that the club are eyeing a last-minute move to sort their right-back position out.

What Kellen Fisher could bring to Everton

Moyes could have a natural right-back who could take Jake O’Brien out of that position if the club are able to strike a late deal with Norwich for the defender, who was hailed for his “crunching” tackles by reporter Connor Southwell.

Jake O'Brien in action for Everton

Unlike O’Brien, who is a centre-back by trade, Fisher is an out-and-out right-back who has plenty of experience now playing for the Canaries in the Championship, and for England at U20 and U21 level.

In the 3-2 win over Wolves, the current Everton ‘right-back’ lost seven of his nine ground duels and lost possession of the ball a staggering 26 times, per Sofascore, whilst the Canaries gem only lost possession 7.4 times per game on averag last term.

Everton manager DavidMoyesbefore the match

That performance highlighted the need for the Toffees to have a natural full-back in that position to be mobile enough to win duels as well as good enough technically to progress up the pitch and create chances for the team.

As you can see in the table above, Fisher and O’Brien’s respective statistics at league level last season suggest that the former is far more likely to provide a threat in the final third, by pushing on from right-back to create ‘big chances’ chances for his side.

The Norwich youngster being an athletic, pacey, right-back also means that he is more effective in duels, as illustrated by those statistics, because he is combative and quick across the ground, whilst O’Brien is a natural centre-back who wants to step off instead of potentially having to deal with a foot race.

Everton plan to seal a statement signing before the imminent transfer deadline, with Moyes looking for his next Tomas Soucek…

ByAngus Sinclair Sep 1, 2025

Therefore, Fisher has the qualities and the profile to replace O’Brien as the first-choice right-back for Everton if he can adapt to the Premier League, by offering the team more as a strong defender and as a creative threat in the final third.

More prolific than Strand Larsen: Wolves in talks to sign £25m "top striker"

Wolverhampton Wanderers haven’t enjoyed the best of starts to the new Premier League campaign, having been thrashed by Manchester City before losing at Bournemouth by a one-goal margin, under the cosh for much of the contest.

Panic stations? Hardly. Wolves showed their quality and spirit when overcoming West Ham United in the midweek Carabao Cup clash, and have the chance to get their league season up and running when welcoming Everton to Molineux on Saturday.

Wolves players engage in a minute's applause.

One of the potential sticking points in mounting fluency and consistency over the coming months is the thought of losing goalscoring talisman Jørgen Strand Larsen, who is the subject of a flurry of bids from Newcastle United as the window winds down.

Strand Larsen's Wolves future

Wolves chairman Jeff Shi is adamant that Strand Larsen is going nowhere this summer, but the centre-forward has politely requested to join Newcastle United, who have seen three quick-succession bids – the latest of which worth £60m – rejected for the 25-year-old.

Having seen his loan spell made permanent this summer, you can understand the hierarchy’s stance, but every eventuality must be accounted for.

Wolves need to sign another striker, not least because Vitor Pereira lost Matheus Cunha to Manchester United a few months ago.

Well, according to Fabrizio Romano, Wolves have opened talks with Belgian club Genk for striker Tolu Arokodare, insinuating that pace is gathering on the Strand Larsen front, even if the Old Gold are maintaining their stance that the Norwegian is not for sale.

Genk striker Tolu Arokodare

Valued at £25m, Fulham have also registered their interest in the Nigerian number nine this summer, but Wolves appear to hold the lead in the race at his late stage.

What Tolu Arokodare would bring to Wolves

Strand Larsen has played an important part for Wolves since joining from Celta Vigo last summer, scoring 14 goals as Pereira’s side staved off the threat of relegation that served as a backdrop to the campaign.

If he does end up leaving for St. James’ Park, Wolves would need an adequate replacement, and Arokodare has the skills to thrive in his stead, having scored 17 goals in 2024/25 to stand proud as the Juliper Pro League top scorer.

Genk manager Thorsten Fink was full of praise when discussing his marksman, hailing him as a “top striker” and drawing attention to his pace, power, height and two-footedness.

In that regard, the 24-year-old would appear a natural successor to Wolves’ current frontman, whose mobility and presence on the ball have allowed him to dovetail into Premier League life.

Hitherto a loanee in Germany and France, Arokodare has settled in Belgium, going from strength to strength. Across his 113 matches with Genk, who have won two of the past three league titles, the towering ace has scored 41 goals and has supplied 12 assists.

For sure, there’s more still to come. He’s not the most clinical, missing a slew of big chances across the recent season, but his thirst for success in the final third lends itself to a constant stream of goals.

With such a robust and focused style, he could easily replace Strand Larsen at Molineux, should push come to shove, having proven himself to be even more prolific than Wolves’ current marksman, across the last 365 days.

Arokodare’s prowess as Genk’s striker comes with the caveat that he has, of course, been plying his trade at a different level than the Premier League, whereas Strand Larsen has leapt right into the ostensibly toughest division out there.

But still. There’s no denying that the rising goalscorer shares some interesting properties with Strand Larsen, and that Wolves could strike gold by sealing his signature in the coming days and turning a hefty profit on their current number nine.

Shafali and Jonassen power DC into playoffs

Shafali Verma and Jess Jonassen smashed merciless unbeaten fifties to steer Delhi Capitals (DC) into the WPL 2025 playoffs with a nine-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Saturday. It was RCB’s fourth defeat in a row, and they ended without a single win in the Bengaluru leg of the tournament.Ellyse Perry once again led RCB’s fight after they were sent in, scoring an unbeaten 60 to help the side post 147 for 5, but it wasn’t enough against the table-toppers, who had Shikha Pandey and debutant left-arm spinner Shree Charani picking up two wickets apiece. The chase though got off on a tricky note for DC, who lost Meg Lanning in the third over, but Shafali and Jonassen put on an unbroken 146 for the second wicket off just 77 balls – the highest partnership for any wicket in a WPL run chase. The Chinnaswamy was left silenced as DC romped home with 27 balls remaining.Ellyse Perry hit three sixes on her way to an unbeaten 60 off 47 balls•BCCI

Perry anchors RCB innings

Perry came into this game with three fifties in RCB’s first five games, and she was once again central to her team’s fortunes on a slow surface. While there were starts from Danni Wyatt-Hodge (21 off 18) and Raghvi Bist (33 off 32), neither went on to a big score. It was left to Perry to anchor the innings and keep the scorecard ticking at a healthy rate.Coming in after Pandey had dismissed Smriti Mandhana in the second over for another low score (8), Perry was up and running in Pandey’s next over by crashing a wide half-volley over the covers for four. She then hit a six each off spinners Jonassen, Charani and Minnu Mani.Perry put on a brisk 44 with Wyatt-Hodge for the second wicket, and 66 with Bist for the third. With Bist struggling to middle the ball, however, that partnership consumed 54 balls.Perry reached her fourth fifty of the season, off 37 balls, in the 14th over. At the end of the 16th over, RCB were 119 for 2 and eyeing a strong finish. But they fell apart, scoring just 28 in the last four overs for the loss of three wickets. Perry only faced seven balls in the last five overs, scoring eight runs off them. With 295 runs in six innings, Perry has overtaken Nat Sciver-Brunt to become the tournament’s leading run-scorer.Sree Charani finished with figures of 2 for 28 on WPL debut•BCCI

Charani shines on debut

DC preferred Charani over fast bowler Titas Sadhu and she looked in her element. Unfazed by the huge turnout at the Chinnaswamy, Charani used the turn that was on offer in the first innings, kept the stumps in play, constantly angling the ball into middle and leg over the course of a tight spell. She removed Bist and Richa Ghosh in a momentum-changing 17th over to deflate RCB at the death, and ended with figures of 2 for 28 from four overs.

Chinnaswamy fast follows Chinnaswamy feast for Mandhana

Mandhana owned the Chinnaswamy during WPL 2024, scoring 219 runs in five innings, including two half-centuries, at a strike rate of 154.22. This season, however, she has perished to ill-judged shots, accumulating just 50 runs in four innings at her home ground at a strike rate of 102.04. On Saturday, she chased a Pandey delivery shaping away from off stump and edged to Lanning at wide slip.

Left-right combination works for DC

RCB had an excellent start to their bowling powerplay, conceding just five runs in the first three overs. Renuka Singh displayed excellent control with her swing, with almost all of her deliveries finishing within the stumps. She removed Lanning for a 12-ball 2, with Perry taking a sharp chance at mid-on. But once Jonassen joined Shafali, runs started flowing for DC, and it became hard for RCB to keep them quiet. This was the second time Jonassen walked out at No. 3. She had scored another unbeaten 61 from that position at the same ground against Gujarat Giants. With DC’s top order predominantly made up of right-hand batters, they promoted the left-handed Jonassen and it began to unsettle RCB. Jonassen looked fluent in her 38-ball stay, hitting nine fours and a straight six off left-arm spinner Ekta Bisht.Shafali, who had been out in the 40s three times before this game, played a composed knock, showing a desire to not throw her wicket away after a bright start. She ended with her top score of the season, smashing eight fours and four sixes (two each on the off and leg sides) and hammered the bowling to all parts. As DC neared their target, RCB’s bowling began to wither, and Shafali and Jonassen duly punished them. From 68 for 1 after nine overs, DC sprinted to their target, hitting eight fours and five sixes while ransacking 83 runs off what turned out to be the last 39 balls of their innings.

Rangers want to sign £3.5m international after Celtic have offer rejected

Glasgow Rangers are looking to bring in some more new faces at Ibrox before the transfer window ends so that they may start to bridge the early gap that Celtic have built in the Scottish Premiership title race.

After the first two games of the season, Rangers sit in mid-table on two points, whereas Celtic top the table with six points following back-to-back wins in their opening fixtures. While Russell Martin’s side have had a strong start in their campaign for European qualification, it’s the league where they’ll be most heavily judged, and new signings might help rectify their current trajectory.

Oscar Cortes has been Rangers’ most expensive signing so far this window, but after loan spells with the club, he’s yet to be seen much in the league since being made permanent, only featuring in an eight-minute cameo against Motherwell.

Rangers’ second-biggest signing has been Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles. He not only served as a fine addition to the squad but also a barrier in Celtic’s pursuit of Jakob Breum. The Dutch side reportedly no longer had to sell Breum due to the money they received for Antman, so the signing accidentally dealt a blow to their biggest rivals. Martin’s side are now looking to line up another deal that would see them take one of Celtic’s main transfer targets.

Rangers want to beat Celtic to Irving

Reports from The Scotsman have indicated that Rangers are considering a bid for West Ham midfielder Andy Irving. Celtic had placed a bid worth up to £2.25 million for Irving, but it was rejected, with West Ham wanting £3.5 million for the midfielder.

Irving has been at West Ham since 2023, but Rangers could soon offer him the chance to return to Scotland and get more first-team minutes ahead of the World Cup. Irving received his Scotland cap in June in a friendly against Liechtenstein, and the player will be hoping to add to these appearances during the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Despite only receiving 162 minutes of Premier League football last season, Irving is a widely desired player and can play in a defensive, central or attacking midfield role. Even if Celtic have been put off by their failed bid, Rangers will still have to compete with teams from Germany, Italy and Austria to get his signature.

Why so many teams want to sign Irving

Nicknamed “The Portobello Pirlo” at the Hearts academy, Irving hasn’t received many chances in the first team during his time at the London Stadium. However, his time in Austria has shown the levels he is capable of.

While the Austrian league is something of an unknown quantity to many British fans, it is actually ranked higher in the Global Football Rankings than the Scottish Premiership.

During his last season on loan in Austria, Irving’s versatility was on full display. The table below demonstrates what percentile of similar players Irving fell into for various metrics during the 2023/24 season.

This table demonstrates that not only is Irving an all-round midfielder capable of scoring, passing and defending, but he also does it to a higher degree of success than other similar profile players. Based on these metrics, it’s no surprise Rangers and Celtic have both shown an interest in bringing him to the Premiership and that they have to face Serie A and Bundesliga competition for him.

The Manchester United 25-26 home kit officially launched on June 12, 2025. Primarily red with white logos and black accents, it is designed to capture the true essence of the club's identity, honouring its rich history and foundational spirit. The design takes inspiration from Old Trafford, also known as 'The Theatre of Dreams'.

The club has not incorporated bespoke sleeve prints on their home shirts for quite some time, but this time, you should see an abstract sleeve graphic in various shades of red, highlighting elements of the pitch, stands, and tunnel. The last instance of a unique sleeve graphic on a Manchester United home jersey was the 1996-98 design.

To complete the look, the kit features a stylish black and white V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, black three-stripes running down the shoulders, and contrasting white adidas and sponsor logos. A final touch, paying homage to the club's heritage, is a 'Theatre of Dreams' sign-off on the back of the collar. A notable feature is an Old Trafford-inspired graphic on the sleeves, along with "Theatre of Dreams" printed on the collar, paying homage to the iconic stadium.

The new Man Utd home kit can be bought for £85 ($115) for adults, with the authentic strip costing £120 ($162). These rates are for the short-sleeved shirts.

The 2025-2026 Manchester United away kit, featuring a white, plum and modern lilac base with metallic trims, has been unveiled on July 16, 2025. This colour scheme is inspired by the distinctive snowflake pattern from the 1990-92 away kit, but this will not be the first time Adidas has drawn inspiration from the snowflake design for Manchester United kits. They previously used it for the 2015-16 third kit and the 2017-18 away kit. In addition, this season's away kit even incorporates an innovative snowflake M pattern.

The new kit has an overlapping V-collar and flaunting the devil logo instead of the full club crest, a design choice by Adidas. The shorts for the 2025-2026 away kit are expected to be in a dark plum shade, which matches the colour used for the logos on the shirt.

The pricing for the United 2025-26 away kit resonates with that of the home kit.

The new adidas Manchester United 2025-2026 third football shirt, officially unveiled on August 12, 2025, brings back the iconic look of the 1993-94 away shirt famously worn by Eric Cantona. The club confirmed it would be worn for the first time on September 27, 2025 in the Premier League game against Brentford.

The kit is predominantly black with striking yellow and blue accents, mirroring the original design from three decades ago. Key features include the classic Adidas Trefoil logo and a contemporary take on the shielded club badge. The shirt will also sport a stylish tricolour design on the collar and cuffs, with matching shorts and socks to complete the kit.

The black and grey base exposes a subtle yet striking club devil motif, woven directly into the design, finished with authentic 3-stripes in bold yellow across the shoulders.

Speaking of honouring the club legends with this strip, the on-field version of the kit is available to purchase for €150, while the fan version is €100.

The design of the Adidas Man United 2025-2026 goalkeeper home football shirt resembles the Juventus 2025-26 keeper shirt, with a predominantly black base that smoothly transitions into grey towards the bottom. This is nicely accented by the logos and other details rendered in a light green colour.

The jersey is built upon the new Adidas 25 Tiro Goalkeeper Competition teamwear shirt. Leaks have also revealed a blue goalkeeper drip, likely to be used for away matches.

Meanwhile, the new Adidas Manchester United third goalkeeper kit for the 2025-26 season is similar to that of Bayern Munich. The kit features a striking bright mint green colour with subtle vertical stripes. It also showcases the classic Adidas Trefoil logo along with a shielded Manchester United crest.

While the Man Utd home goalkeeper adult long sleeve shirt is available for £90 ($122), fans can anticipate the release and availability of the other two drips anytime around late summer of 2025.
