أكد يورجن كلوب المدير الفني لفريق كرة القدم الأول بنادي ليفربول، على أن الصيف المقبل سيكون مزدحمًا، في إشارة إلى سوق الانتقالات للريدز.

ليفربول حل في المركز الخامس بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، الذي انتهى اليوم بجولته الأخيرة، وأسدل الستار على موسم الريدز دون تحقيق ألقاب.

وقال كلوب في المؤتمر الصحفي بعد المباراة: “آمل أن تبدأ فترة مزدحمة حقًا في الصيف، سنرى ما سيحدث”.

وأضاف: “كانت هناك أربعة فرق على الأقل أفضل منّا على مدار الموسم، قدمنا موسمًا سيئًا، وأنهينا في المركز الخامس، آخر 10 أو 11 مباراة لم تكن كافية لتأهلنا، رغم تحقيق نتائج جيدة”.

وواصل: “كانت هناك أوقات في الموسم استمتعنا بها، ولحظات أخرى تشعر فيها أن الموسم امتد لـ4 سنوات، الانتصارات على مانشستر يونايتد ورينجرز والمباريات التي سجلنا فيها العديد من الأهداف، كانت لحظات جيدة للغاية”.

وشدد: “سنعود من جديد، نريد أن نتحسن، وأن نصبح الفريق الذي لا يريد أحد أن يواجهه، لقد كنا كذلك، ونريد أن نعود هكذا”.

واختتم: “أنا المسؤول بالكامل عن الذي حدث، نشعر بخيبة أمل كبيرة لكن هناك لحظات يجب فيها أن نعترف بأننا لم نكن نستحق التأهل، علينا أن نقتنع بذلك، ومن ثم نبدأ الاستعداد للموسم المقبل”.

There is much talk of players preferring the IPL to first-class or even international cricket but, in Alfonso Thomas, Somerset have a cricketer who has chosen to take the path less travelled.Thomas, preferring the security of a new three-year deal at Somerset to another season of IPL, is contracted at Taunton for the entire season. And, on a pitch on which two of his colleagues had made batting look simple with high-class centuries, he produced a spell of bowling that might have made the crucial contribution in this match.Thomas, playing against the club that rejected him after a brief stint in 2007, claimed three wickets in an excellent afternoon spell. Maintaining a nagging line, using the crease well and finding just enough movement to trouble all the batsmen, he had Jim Troughton feeling for one angled across him from wide at the crease, Laurie Evans edging a beauty that was angled in and left him off the pitch, and Tim Ambrose leg before despite more than an hint of inside edge. It knocked the stuffing out of the champions and has left them facing a vast first-innings deficit.That Somerset extended their first innings beyond 400 – claiming maximum batting bonus points – for the first time this season was largely due to Jos Buttler. While it would be stretching a point to suggest that Buttler has preferred county duty to the IPL – he has not had the opportunity to participate in the IPL at this stage – he did admit that his third first-class century here meant more to him that a match-defining contribution in a T20 match. “I’ve made a reputation in one-day cricket” he told, “but under-performed in the Championship.”Warwickshire might also reflect on some sloppy batting. Varun Chopra, under the watchful eye of England batting coach Graham Thorpe, missed a straight one as he attempted to flick across the line, while Chris Woakes cut a long-hop to point and William Porterfield mistimed a drive horribly to gift a catch to mid-off.Rikki Clarke, batting imperiously, was run out attempting a third when Marcus Trescothick’s throw from 10 yards inside the boundary at fine leg hit the stumps – “he was unlucky,” Trescothick admitted modestly afterwards – while, for the first time in many months, Warwickshire now have a longish tail, with three men vying for the No. 11 spot. The foundations of their success last year, built upon a relentless bowling attack and a batting order that disappeared over the horizon, have been weakened.Perhaps we should not be surprised. Somerset were, after all, the only side to beat Warwickshire in the Championship last year – they came close to doing it twice – when they bowled them out for 124 at Taunton and they did finish second. Besides, this match is not over: Dougie Brown, Warwickshire’s new director of cricket, had brave words at the close about ‘”chasing anything” on such a good surface.Gayle’s Somerset guarantee

Chris Gayle has given a written undertaking to allow Somerset first refusal for his services in return for reneging on his contract in 2012 and there is still a chance he could appear for the club in this year’s T20 competition. The club’s chief executive, Guy Lavender, confirmed to ESPNcricinfo that Somerset “would like him to come” which leaves just the pesky issues of money and availability. Gayle is committed to appearing in the Champions Trophy – between June 6 and June 23 – and expected to appear in the Caribbean Premier League from July 29 to August 26. The group stage of the FLt20 runs from June 26 to July 31, with the quarter-finals on August 6 and finals day on August 17. The Sri Lanka Premier League also runs from August 11. Somerset have currently only signed one overseas player for the competition: Alviro Petersen.

To date, however, Somerset have outplayed Warwickshire with bat and ball. Somerset’s batsmen displayed a discipline that Warwickshire’s could not and Somerset’s bowlers have generated more life from the surface. Had Trescothick, the Somerset captain, not declined the opportunity to enforce the follow-on – a controversial decision bearing in mind that only 13 overs remained in the day when he decided to bat again – then Warwickshire would have been obliged to follow on for the first time since August 2010, when Nottinghamshire were the opposition. As it was, Somerset extended their lead of 248 to 294 by stumps with Trescothick, out to offspin yet again (he has been dismissed by three of the last four balls he has faced from offspinners) the only victim.”It’s really important the bowlers are fresh when they have the new ball,” Trescothick said afterwards, explaining his decision. “Our bowlers had already bowled 65 overs, so I wanted to give them a break. Warwickshire also look tired, so we wanted to put them back out there.”Warwickshire might consider themselves somewhat unfortunate. While the majority of England players, including the fast bowlers, have returned to action in this round of games, Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell continue to sit out this round of matches. Not only are Warwickshire much weakened by their absence, but it seems a shame that such a high-profile televised match, a match that could have been used to market the county game, has been denied such fine players.Warwickshire are also missing Ian Westwood, who is out for around a month having turned his ankle in training, and Keith Barker, who is out for six weeks with a side strain. As a consequence, their batting is considerably weakened.But none of that should have been unanticipated. It was always likely that Trott and Bell would be absent for vast periods and always likely that injury – and Lions call-ups – would weaken Warwickshire at other times. The likes of Darren Maddy were available for selection. There can be no excuses. These days cricket, at county and international level, is a squad game.Besides, Somerset have issues of their own. George Dockrell was unavailable with a finger injury and Steve Kirby was rested with a view to ‘workload management’. Jack Leach, the 21-year-old left-arm spinner playing only his fourth first-class match, compensated for the absence of the former with a tight spell of bowling that suggested he could have a decent future at this level, while the Overton twins, aged just 19, look prodigiously talented. Jamie found bounce and carry in the pitch that only Clarke, of the Warwickshire bowlers, could match, while Craig conceded just seven runs in 10 overs.Things are looking up for Somerset and the club are hopeful of retaining the services of Buttler. The 22-year-old, who produced some outstandingly fluent drives to complete his century, is out of contract at the end of the season and certain to interest a host of other counties. Slightly unsettled by the uncertainty over his future as a wicketkeeper at the club – Craig Kieswetter retains the gloves and is keeping better all the time – Buttler knows his England ambitions may be better served by a move to a club that allows him to keep more often. But, having developed through the system and having a family steeped in the club, it will take some persuasion to lure him away.Buttler remains a work in progress. He has plenty of improvement to make with his keeping and questions to answer about his ability to play the short ball and his ability to survive in bowler-friendly conditions. But the way in which he makes perfectly respectable length deliveries appear as if they are overpitched filth suggests he is a young man of rare talent who will surely find a way.

وذكرت الصحيفة: “بطولة كأس العالم لكرة السلة 3×3 تقام حاليًا في النمسا حيث خطف الكثير من النجوم الأنظار أمثال جيمي فريديت ولاتيتا جاوبوا وساندرا يوجريفيدي لكن هناك نجمة أخرى قادمة من مصر نالت الكثير من المديح وهي ثريا محمد”.

ونقلت الصحيفة تصريحات ثريا محمد بقولها: “أشعر بالراحة مع ارتداء الحجازب والملابس الواسعة الطويلة، لا أراها من منظور الآخرين، الذين ينظرون إلي ويقولون: مرحبًا، تلك الفتاة تلعب بالحجاب، بل أرى أنني أكون في الملعب فريدة من نوعي”.

وتابعت ثريا محمد حديثها: “في مصر معظم اللاعبات ترتدي الحجاب، لذلك ليس غريباً، أنا لا أفعل شيئاً مختلفاً، أنا فخورة بنفسي، لكوني مسلمة وأرتدي الحجاب، أنا فريدة من نوعي أمام كل هؤلاء اللاعبات”.

وعن مناداتها في مصر بلقب كليوباترا قالت لاعبة نادي الصيد السابقة: “كليوباترا هي أهم شيء في مصر، إنها الملكة، أن يناديني الاتحاد الدولي لكرة السلة والعالم بأسره كليوباترا يجعلني أشعر بالفخر، أريد أن أكون قدوة للأجيال القادمة وعندما أتوقف عن اللعب أريد أن أكون مدربة”.

يذكر أن ثريا محمد، من مواليد 1995، بدأت مشوارها في كرة السلة في صفوف نادي الصيد بعمر 8 سنوات ووقعت للنادي الأهلي عام 2018 وساهمت في تحقيق الفريق في موسم 2022-2023 خمسة ألقاب بالجمع بين لقب دوري المرتبط وكأس السوبر المصري وكأس مصر ومنطقة القاهرة والدوري المصري.

ثريا محمد ساهمت كذلك في تأهل منتخب مصر للمشاركة في كأس إفريقيا لكرة السلة وذلك بقيادة مدرب منتخب الفراعنة الكابتن إيهاب الألفي.

O Corinthians encara o Novo Horizontino neste domingo às 17h, em Novo Horizonte, pela 6ª rodada do Campeonato Paulista. A partida poderia ser mais uma sem grandes pretensões para o Timão, mas possui ingredientes importantes para o time e dois jogadores em especial: o meia Ângelo Araos e o atacante Mauro Boselli.

Poucos atualmente precisam tanto dessa chance como o chileno e o argentino.

Araos ainda é visto como uma grande esperança dentro do Corinthians, mas chama a atenção até em seu país o pouco aproveitamento no Brasil. O chileno fez 19 jogos desde que chegou, dois este ano e não marcou gols. O alento é que Carille prometeu utilizá-lo em sua posição favorita, mais adiantado partindo da esquerda para o meio. Como tem jogado Jadson, ou mesmo Sornoza, meias com quem Araos disputa posição. Ele terá Mateus Vital ao seu lado na criação de jogadas.

Já o argentino Mauro Boselli está com missão igualmente dura. Contratado como esperança para resolver o problema da ausência de um centroavante, ele viu Gustagol ganhar a posição com um início de ano avassalador. O centroavante que estava emprestado ao Fortaleza marcou cinco gols em sete jogos, contra nenhum do argentino, que disputou três. Por isso, Carille fez questão de afirmar que hoje o seu titular é Gustavo.

Tanto Araos quanto Boselli terão de ralar muito para conseguir um lugar na equipe. Mas nada melhor do que um confronto no Campeonato Paulista para mostrar o valor. Afinal, na próxima quinta o páreo é mais duro, contra o Racing (ARG) pela estreia na Copa Sul-Americana. Os testes de Carille tendem a se afunilarem.

– Lógico que é uma oportunidade, não só para mim, mas para todos. De buscar uma melhor performance. Todos estão com a mentalidade de agarrar a oportunidade, mas nosso objetivo é a vitória. Temos de respeitar o Novorizontino, que quando joga dentro de casa tenta impor uma dificuldade muito grande. No ano passado, fizemos um grande jogo, conseguimos a vitória, mas eles deram muito trabalho para nós – afirmou o volante Gabriel, outra novidade da partida.

Representantes de Flamengo e Ministério Público estiveram reunidos nesta segunda e deram o pontapé inicial no processo de indenização das vítimas do incêndio que atingiu o alojamentos das divisões de base do clube, no dia 8, no Ninho do Urubu. O departamento jurídico da Gávea reuniu documentos, incluindo os contratos de formação dos dez jovens mortos e dos 16 atletas sobreviventes, e apresentou à Defensoria Pública cálculo inicial do valor a ser pago.

Segundo o portal “Globoesporte”, o Ministério Público fez uma contraproposta e aguarda a resposta do Fla até o fim de semana. Outros órgãos públicos, como Defesa Civil e Ministério do Trabalho, estiveram presentes no encontro desta segunda-feira. A idade das vítimas, o tempo da carreira e salário de jogadores de futebol foram pontos levados em consideração. Os valores são sigilosos.

Depois do cálculo inicial, caberá ao clube e MP prepararem as indenizações de acordo com as consequências sofridas por determinada vítima. Ou seja, um valor para os familiares dos 10 mortos, outro valor para sobreviventes com sequelas permanentes e um terceiro valor para sobreviventes sem lesões. Com essa definição entre Flamengo e Ministério Público, as respectivas propostas são apresentadas às partes envolvidas, podendo ou não serem aceitas.

O apoio amplo e irrestrito aos sobreviventes e familiares foi colocado como prioridade pela direção do Fla desde o trágico acontecimento. Um comitê de gestão de crise foi instaurado na Sede da Gávea. Os custos de traslado das famílias para o Rio, assim como a hospedagem e as despesas do transporte de todos os corpos das vítimas para as cidades natais, foram pagas pelo clube.

O incêndio no alojamento nas divisões de base aconteceu no dia 8 de fevereiro e vitimou 10 atletas do Flamengo, de 14 a 16 anos. Três jogadores precisaram ser internados – Cauan Emanuel e Francisco Dyogo já receberam alta médica -, sendo que Jhonata Ventura segue aos cuidados do Centro de Tratamento de Queimados do Hospital Municipal Pedro II. O quadro do jovem é estável. Além deles, treze jovens escaparam do incêndio sem qualquer tipo de ferimento.

No dia 13, o Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro determinou a suspensão de todas as atividades das categorias de base no CT George Helal, o Ninho do Urubu, proibindo a entrada, permanência ou participação de qualquer criança ou adolescente no local até julgamento do mérito. A decisão é do juiz Pedro Henrique Alves, da 1ª Vara da Infância da Juventude e do Idoso.

Em caso de descumprimento, está prevista multa única no valor de R$ 10 milhões em relação ao Clube de Regatas do Flamengo e multa única e concomitante no valor de R$ 1 milhão ao presidente Rodolfo Landim. A decisão do TJ-RJ foi liminar parcial em ação civil publica do MPRJ que corre desde 1 de abril de 2015. Cabe recurso ao Flamengo em segunda instância.

A decisão está sendo respeitada. Após o incêndio, as atividades da base foram e a expectativa para que os jogadores se reapresentem na quinta-feira, dia 21. Contudo, sem a estrutura do Ninho do Urubu, a operação com atletas de fora do Rio de Janeiro deve permanecer suspensa. O clube entende que não há condições de receber centenas de atletas da base em outro local que não o CT.

No dia 15, após a segunda reunião entre Flamengo e autoridades, a Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro reforçou oo pedido de interdição do local, já feito em 2017. Apesar disso, o elenco profissional treinou no Ninho do Urubu no próprio dia 15, no dia 16 e voltou a trabalhar no CT nesta segunda, dia 18. O clube entende que a utilização diurna dos campos não “representa qualquer risco” e reforça que não está havendo utilização noturna de nenhuma estrutura do local.

O Flamengo se pronunciou em três momentos desde o trágico episódio. No dia do incêndio, o presidente Rodolfo Landim fez um emocionado – e curto – pronunciamento à imprensa na entrada do CT. O mandatário classificou o caso como “a maior tragédia nos 123 anos do Clube de Regatas do Flamengo”.

No dia seguinte, na Sede da Gávea, quem falou foi o CEO Reinaldo Belotti, que coordenou o comitê de gestão de crise desde o início. O executivo reforçou a prioridade do clube no suporte amplo e irrestrito às vítimas e familiares e, com base em documentos, garantiu que o incêndio nada teve a ver com as condições da estrutura do alojamento das divisões da base no CT George Helal.

Nestes dois primeiros momentos, o clube não abriu espaço para perguntas. No dia 15,Rodrigo Dunshee, vice-presidente e vice-jurídico do Rubro-Negro, falou rapidamente após a reunião com os órgãos públicos e ressaltou que a atual gestão assumiu o poder apenas no começo de 2019. Após o pronunciamento, porém, Dunshee se irritou com as perguntas e retirou-se, dando fim à coletiva.

وتغلب منتخب الأرجنتين على أستراليا بهدفين دون مقابل في مباراة ودية جمعتهما بالصين، اليوم الخميس.

وقال مارتينيز في تصريحات نشرها حساب منتخب الأرجنتين الرسمي عبر “تويتر”: “لقد كانت مباراة صعبة للغاية، لقد ضغطوا على بعضهم البعض، لكننا واجهناها بشكل جيد”.

وأضاف بشأن خوض المباراة في الصين: “نشعر اليوم بأننا في وطننا، أظهر لنا شعب الصين الكثير من الحب”.

Once again runs from Graham Napier rescued Essex from a precarious position, as he and captain James Foster ensured the hosts posted a modest yet acceptable first innings score.Together, Napier and Foster put on 88 for the seventh wicket with some great interplay that allowed both to play their natural games. Foster was aggressive in his counterattack when he first came in but pushed the ball around nicely when Napier – Division Two’s leading run scorer, now with 421 runs – strode to the crease.While he does have a propensity to slog, Napier’s runs today and so far this season have come through proper cricket shots; hit very, very hard. His strokes made the outfield look like glass and when he did go big – a straight six off Mark Davies – it was a product of finesse rather than fury; taking a step down the wicket before stepping into a lofted straight drive with immaculate timing.The talk at tea around the stands was of an eventual move up the order for Napier – but why risk it? Those in the know say his batting this year is a lot more disciplined – “He’s got his head down” being the figurative and literal change seen in his approach. Napier didn’t pass fifty in the County Championship last year but already he’s done it five times – top scoring in four innings – and we’re still not out of May.But a permanent move into the top six (realistically it would be a top seven, but Ryan Ten Doeschate will be closely monitored having returned from the IPL) could see him curb his natural attacking instincts, not least because such a move would be testament to the value of his runs to the side’s fortunes. At the moment, they are a very welcome bonus.James Tredwell won the toss and opted to field in overcast conditions but Tom Westley and Jaik Mickleburgh batted sensibly to give Essex a decent platform. They certainly took their time – the score only got to double figures after 61 balls – but they pushed things along as soon as they got to the pace of the pitch. When Westley was bowled by a sharp delivery from Mark Davies which jagged in off the seam, Essex had been provided with a decent platform by their young openers.But the afternoon session brought an air of familiarity as their soft batting line up was once again gutted – this time losing four wickets in 32 balls for the addition of only eight runs. While Kent can claim they provided the knife, it was Essex who sharpened it before showing them where to make the first incision.Ravi Bopara cashed out on his good form, after 178 runs in the previous game against Glamorgan, by hanging his bat out to dry and giving Darren Stevens catching practice at gully. Mickleburgh followed for a well fashioned 37 before Ryan Ten Doeschate – thrust straight into whites after a month in Kolkata purple – played rather flakily at a wide ball that should have been left alone to give Geraint Jones his first catch of the day.Ben Foakes was trudging back two balls later after trying to leave a ball from Charlie Shreck – having taken a big forward stride he retracted his bat face behind his elbow but failed to hide it completely from the ball, which deflected off it for another easy take for Stevens.When Foster and Napier fell, the tail soon followed, as Kent took the new ball to remove David Masters and Tom Craddock for little damage.With 12 overs to negotiate before stumps, Masters removed Rob Key with the help of Foster – though Key was less than pleased as he trudged off. In the end, that was the only casualty and they will return tomorrow on 20 for 1.
